When multiple players each have a flush, the winner is determined by the value of the highest card held as part of the flush. The royal flush is actually just the highest possible straight flush, consisting of a ten-to-ace straight of the same suit. All other occurrences of making five sequential cards, all the same suit, fall under the category of a straight flush. Seeing as you cannot be sure of this (it’s quite unlikely in most cases), you should work out your pot odds for the turn and river individually. This will save you from paying more money than you should to complete your draw.
For lowball games like 2-7 Triple Draw and Razz only the lowest hand will win the pot. Straights and flushes don’t count in Razz while in 2-7 they actually count against you. In games where a player has more than five cards and selects five to form a poker hand, the remaining cards do not play any part in the ranking. The cards in one’s hand must be a ten, jack, queen, king and ace all of the same suit. A- If two or more players are holding the same type of hand, the kicker card helps in determining the winner. For example – if player A has 10-5, B has 10-8 and the board comes 2-4-J-10-K, both players have a pair of 10s.
Poker pair rules say that if the pairs are of the same value, the highest kicker card determines the winner. A second and even third kicker can be used if necessary. The pot is shared whenever a straight results in the highest-ranked cards among all players, regardless of suit. If the “kicker on the board,” the fifth community card, is greater than any of the participants’ hole cards, the pot is divided. You do need to call about 16% of the time not to become too exploitable, and they will sometimes overplay a smaller flush or even a straight.

Of the nearly 2.6 million poker hands, only four of them are royal flushes. Due to the shuffling of the cards, every one of these hands is equally likely to be dealt to a player. A player opened for 2.5x, and you decided to look them up on the button with a suited ace. The flop comes with a poker flush draw, and they fire a standard continuation bet of about half the pot.
